Therapy Group for Survivors of Religious/Cult/High Control Group Abuse

This group is appropriate for anyone who was raised in, or has spent time in, and was negatively impacted by, a controlling environment (family, church, or secular cult).

The group is intentionally structured as a non-hierarchical, egalitarian space—one where we can practice healthy communication, critical thinking, and mutual respect; skills that are not fostered in high control groups. It provides an opportunity to develop constructive feedback skills in a safe and supportive environment as we explore the impact of being part of an overly-controlling group.

Handouts on various topics will be provided for home study.
